Dr Katherine Cummins is an Australian trained clinical haematologist and haematopathologist who has been undertaking a basic research fellowship at The University of Pennsylvania since 2017, in the laboratory of Saar Gill, MD, PhD. Her research on developing a novel therapeutic platform, based on gene-edited allogeneic stem/progenitor cell transplant, that may facilitate the use of CAR T-cells for the treatment of AML/MDS and other myeloid malignancies.
